My passion for music started when I was in my early teens, experimenting with an electric guitar and effects pedal, creating ambient guitar loops that sparked my interest in sound design. This journey led me to Brighton, hoping to break into the city’s music scene, where I began sharing demos and tracks online. It was through this exposure that Mike Paradinas of Planet Mu discovered my work and offered me opportunities to release music. Over the past two decades, I’ve explored different genres, from atmospheric dubstep to dark cinematic sounds, culminating in my latest album, Mind Abandon.

The process of creating Mind Abandon involved bending traditional instruments, synths, and vocals, using granular processing and effects to craft ambient textures and unique sonic landscapes. Each track on the album represents a departure from my previous work, pushing boundaries and embracing experimentation to create something fresh and innovative. One standout track, “A Hidden Path,” exemplifies this approach, blending layers of sound into a mesmerizing and immersive listening experience.

In my studio in Oxford, I delved into the intricate sound design behind “A Hidden Path,” revealing the techniques and inspirations that shaped the track. Through a combination of recorded instruments, synths, and vocals, I crafted a sonic world that invites listeners to explore and immerse themselves in the music. This exploration of textures, tones, and effects showcases my commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music and creating engaging, evocative compositions.

My studio setup reflects my dedication to sonic experimentation, with a diverse array of instruments, effects, and recording gear that allow me to shape and manipulate sound in unique ways. By blending analog and digital tools, I can achieve a rich, dynamic sound palette that forms the foundation of my creative process. This blend of old and new technologies enables me to explore new sonic territories and discover innovative approaches to music production.

Looking ahead, I continue to push the boundaries of my craft, exploring new sounds, textures, and ideas to create music that challenges and captivates listeners. As an artist, I thrive on experimentation and innovation, constantly seeking new ways to express my artistic vision and connect with audiences on a deeper level. With each release, I aim to push the boundaries of electronic music, creating immersive, engaging experiences that resonate with listeners on a profound level.

Through my music, I invite listeners to embark on a sonic journey, exploring the depths of sound and emotion through intricate compositions and evocative textures. Each track on Mind Abandon represents a unique sonic world, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in a universe of sound and experience music in a new and transformative way. As an artist, I strive to push the boundaries of electronic music and create immersive, captivating compositions that transport listeners to new and unexplored realms of sound and emotion.
