Singer-songwriter Noahfinnce returns with brand new single “Mr. Overwhelm” – Check it out
Alt-rock singer-songwriter Noahfinnce has made a triumphant return with his latest single, “Mr Overwhelm.” Released via Hopeless Records, this new track marks a fresh chapter in Noah’s music career, showcasing a departure from his usual pop/punk sound while still capturing the essence of a classic NOAHFINNCE anthem. The singer-songwriter describes “Mr Overwhelm” as a character embodying the anxiety, fear, and hopelessness that often accompany navigating the present-day dystopian world. The song delves into the disillusionment of realizing that the idealistic world promised in childhood does not exist, leading to a natural inclination to seek solace in fantasy. This exploration also touches on anemoia, defined as a deep sense of nostalgia or longing for a time or place that never truly existed.
Exciting news for fans as NOAHFINNCE is set to support Twenty One Pilots at their All Points East headline show later this summer. Following the success of Noah’s cover of The Judge, the artist will share the stage with other talented acts at Victoria Park in East London on 30th August.
Taking a break from touring for the past year and a half, Noahfinnce dedicated his time to writing new music. During this hiatus, he candidly discussed the challenges he faced regarding the financial strain of touring. In April, Noah received Phase One funding from the UK Artist Touring Fund, a collaboration between the Featured Artists Coalition, Musicians Union, and Music Managers Forum. This funding initiative aims to support artists by providing additional funds to facilitate tours and revitalize the live music scene in the UK.
Noahfinnce made a splash in 2024 with the release of his debut album, “Growing Up On The Internet,” followed by a deluxe version later that year. The album features hit singles like “PET WITH THE TISM,” inspired by Noah’s autism diagnosis, and its music video pays homage to the cult classic film, Mean Girls. In the same year, Noah performed at various festivals including Download, Isle of Wight, and Bludfest, in addition to embarking on his debut headline tour in North America. He concluded the year with a sold-out show at The Fleece in Bristol, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Beyond his music, NOAHFINNCE is also known for his presence on YouTube, where he boasts over 1 million subscribers. He initially gained recognition for posting covers on the platform in 2015 and later courageously shared his journey as a transgender man. Noah continues to use his platform to shed light on his experiences regarding being transgender, living with ADHD, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, and more, both on YouTube and across his social media channels.
