‘2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival announces addition of eight acts, including Xdinary Heroes’

The highly anticipated ‘2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival,’ hailed as the premier global culture and tourism event in South Korea, has recently disclosed its final roster, culminating in a grand total of 66 performances with eight fresh additions. Organized by the Incheon Metropolitan City, the ‘2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival,’ also known as Pentaport, has officially revealed its Final Line-Up, solidifying the artists who will grace the stages this year. Marking its 21st iteration, the Incheon Pentaport festival will showcase a diverse lineup of 66 acts ranging from internationally renowned rock musicians to burgeoning talents setting the stage alive both domestically and worldwide, solidifying the festival’s reputation as a leading cultural music extravaganza from Korea.

Among the latest inductees to the final lineup is Xdinary Heroes, a cutting-edge K-rock band that has been capturing widespread attention. Fostering a unique band sound with a broad range of musical influences and top-tier musicianship, Xdinary Heroes broadened their musical horizons even further with their eighth mini-album released in April 2026. The group continues their dynamic performances and unique storytelling through their title track ‘Voyager,’ following the success of their ‘Xdinary Heroes World Tour’ and participation in ‘Lollapalooza 2025.’ With a growing global fanbase, Xdinary Heroes is set to enthrall the audience at Pentaport with their high-octane band performances and compelling live shows.

Additionally, Taiwanese heavy metal band Flesh Juicer has been added to the festival’s final lineup. Originating in Taichung, Taiwan in 2006, Flesh Juicer has garnered international acclaim for their distinctive blend of intense metal music with traditional Taiwanese culture and folk beliefs. By incorporating traditional instruments like the suona, Taiwanese lyrics, and themes inspired by local festivals and legends into their music and stage presence, the band has emerged as a prominent figure in the Taiwanese metal scene. Their vocalist GIGO’s symbolic ‘pig-head’ mask performances further solidify their powerful stage persona. Having received accolades at the Golden Melody Awards for their album 『GOLDEN TAIZI BRO.』, Flesh Juicer is renowned for producing the Taiwan theme song for Blizzard Entertainment’s ‘Diablo IV’ game and gracing prestigious international music festivals such as Japan’s Summer Sonic and Hong Kong’s Clockenflap. At Pentaport, they are poised to deliver an electrifying live set that seamlessly blends tradition with heavy metal.

Joining the festival lineup is the seven-member Japanese artist group HANA, who shot to fame through an audition project and quickly gained recognition as a new-age J-pop sensation. Praised for their exceptional vocals, rap, and performance skills, HANA made their debut single ‘ROSE’ top the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart. With Korean member JISU expressing a strong desire to perform at Incheon Pentaport, HANA is set to captivate the audience with a Band Set performance that promises a unique live sound distinct from their usual style.

Renowned singer-songwriter and producer SUMIN, known for her innovative blend of Korean R&B and alternative pop, is another exciting addition to the final lineup. With a distinctive musical identity that effortlessly traverses R&B, electronic, and pop genres, SUMIN is celebrated for her experimental musicality and refined production. Promising a set at Incheon Pentaport that showcases her distinct artistic vision, SUMIN is set to leave a lasting impression on the festival audience.

Completing the final lineup are neu, YANG JEONG HOON, casually connected, and Eddie and the Bricks, each bringing their unique musical styles to the stage. neu stands out for their powerful vocals and emotive melodies, while YANG JEONG HOON’s authentic songwriting and heartfelt storytelling have gained attention. casually connected offers a blend of post-hardcore sounds that meld aggressive breakdowns with poignant melodies, while Eddie and the Bricks have garnered acclaim in the Korean indie scene for their Britpop-inspired music steeped in nostalgia and lyrical prowess.

Earlier announcements featured prominent acts such as UK’s MASSIVE ATTACK, American indie-rock legends PIXIES, KHRUANGBIN known for their eclectic global sound, and Scottish alternative-rock icons The Jesus & Mary Chain.

In addition, festival-goers can look forward to performances by local acts including HYUKOH, LEE SEUNG YOON, Original Love, Silica Gel, Sultan Of The Disco, The Volunteers, Jang Pill Soon, Noizegarden, TOUCHED, and QWER. The lineup also includes international talents like The Lemon Twigs, never young beach, The Geeks, LEENALCHI, Band Nah, Dabda, and SIMILE LAND, who participated in last year’s Penta Super Rookie program, adding to the festival’s diverse mix of artists spanning various generations
