Tree63, a renowned rock band from South Africa, has made a triumphant return with the release of their latest album, Voyage. Established in Durban in 1997, Tree63 quickly rose to fame as one of South Africa’s most successful musical exports. With hit songs such as “Treasure,” “Stumbling Stone,” “A Million Lights,” and the Billboard chart-topper “Blessed Be Your Name,” the band garnered international acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Following years of touring and multiple award-winning albums, Tree63 took a break, only to return with Voyage, their eighth studio album.
Produced in South Africa by John Ellis and renowned producer Dave Langemann at Creative Native Studios in Cape Town, Voyage features ten brand-new tracks that delve into themes of faith, perseverance, hope, and navigating the uncertainties of the world. Upon relocating from Durban to Cape Town in 2022, Ellis found renewed inspiration for songwriting after taking time off to focus on family, teaching, and academic pursuits.
