Babymonster debuted the start of their second world tour, “Choom,” with a series of high-energy performances in Seoul over the weekend. Known for their powerful live vocals and intense stage presence, the group showcased their talent and charisma at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu.

The three-day Seoul concerts marked Babymonster’s return to the touring circuit after a year and five months. Following Rami’s hiatus, the group performed as a six-member lineup consisting of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita. The show kicked off with a dynamic performance of “We Go Up,” showcasing the group’s musical prowess and magnetic stage presence.

Their use of handheld microphones emphasized their confidence in live deliveries while executing intricate choreography. Supported by a live band, Babymonster’s energetic tracks were elevated to a rock-festival-like level with electric guitar riffs, booming drums, and heavy bass lines. Instrumental breaks during costume changes ensured that the concert’s momentum never wavered.

Each member had their moment to shine throughout the show. Ahyeon’s powerful high notes in “Drip” elicited thunderous cheers from the audience, while Rora, Asa, Pharita, Chiquita, Ruka, and Ahyeon showcased their individual talents during solo sections, covering a diverse range of songs.

As the concert progressed, the mood shifted from intense and dark to sentimental and introspective. The ballad section allowed the members’ vocal abilities to take center stage, creating a more intimate connection with the audience. The concert then transitioned back to its party atmosphere, culminating in a high-energy finale featuring some of Babymonster’s most popular songs.

In their closing remarks, the members expressed their gratitude to their fans for their unwavering support. Chiquita, Rora, Ahyeon, and the rest of the group emphasized the importance of their fans in their performances, pledging to continue delivering memorable shows.

After the successful Seoul concerts, Babymonster is gearing up to take “Choom” on the road to Japan, with a series of performances scheduled from July to September in various cities across the country. With their electrifying performances and infectious energy, Babymonster is set to captivate audiences worldwide as they continue their global tour.
