Fat Dog is set to release their second album titled “Cancel Me (I’m Tired)” on October 2nd, promising a blend of electro-art rock, pop, country, and punk genres. The band’s unique style is ever-evolving, with this upcoming album showcasing their creativity and innovation.

The inception of “Cancel Me (I’m Tired)” took place after a rigorous US tour, where each band member experienced moments of personal crisis. Chris Hughes recalled a particular incident in LA when he found himself in a state of frenzy, resorting to hitting his head against a wall while wearing an American Football helmet. Ironically, shortly after this event, the band’s frontman, Joe Love, tied the knot in Vegas, embodying the contrasting experiences that influenced the album’s creation.

The upcoming album delves into a variety of themes, including addiction, family dynamics, love, artificial intelligence, ancestry, extraterrestrial life, as well as references to Chris Tarrant, S&M, B&M, H&M, and M&Ms, showcasing a unique and eclectic mix of subjects that will be explored in the music.

The title track of the album, “Cancel Me (I’m Tired),” follows the release of their previous single, “Go F*** Urself,” which dropped in May. It draws inspiration from John Lennon’s “How Do You Sleep” fused with Altin Gün’s style, creating a dynamic sound experience that captures the band’s versatility and creativity.

Fat Dog is also preparing for a series of UK in-store shows and a headline tour in the upcoming autumn season, promising an immersive and engaging experience for fans. The band’s commitment to pushing boundaries and reinventing their sound is evident in their upcoming album, which is highly anticipated by their dedicated fan base.

With their second album on the horizon, Fat Dog continues to solidify their unique position in the music industry, blending various genres and influences to create a distinctive sound that resonates with audiences worldwide. Stay tuned for the release of “Cancel Me (I’m Tired)” on October 2nd, an album that promises to captivate and intrigue listeners with its innovative approach to music.
