New Music Releases for July 3, 2026

This week, we received an overwhelming amount of new music, including full albums from American Aquarium, Rat Boy, and Bike Routes, of which I regrettably missed during our weekly coverage. To kick off July, we have a lighter week of new releases due to the Independence Day holiday, but there are still a few standout albums that I want to highlight for you.

Indie power pop artist Ryan Hamilton and rebellious piano rocker Low Cut Connie have both released exciting projects. Additionally, alternative rock icons Dinosaur Jr. shared news of a new album and gave us a taste of what’s to come, showcasing J. Mascis’ exceptional guitar skills. Another legend in the alternative music scene, Peter Gabriel, unveiled his latest track, while alt-pop sensation Gayle graced us with a catchy new tune. New Jersey’s own Jared Hart impressed with his latest release, and a surprising collaboration between Snow Patrol and Kylie Minogue caught our attention.

Bryan Adams made a statement with his powerful new track, joined by indie soul group Los Coast, who continue to captivate listeners with their soulful sound. The week also saw the release of singles from The Sleights, The N.S.O., CR & the White Lights, Fly Right, Figures on a Beach, Taylor Bickett, Michigander, Stanley Simmons, Jack Kays, DMA’s, Deep Purple, and Billy Morrison.

Among the fresh names entering the music scene this week are Thimble, Saturn, World Famous Pets, Selfish Things, D.B. Tait, Major Spark, Chess Club, Nathan Coutts, Weatherell, The Falls, Bone-Idle, TX2, and Ian Prowse.
