Portugal fair features lineup of local artists

Portugal is gearing up for the Feira Raiana, a fair that is showcasing a lineup filled with national talent. Scheduled from July 22 to 26 in Idanha-a-Nova, the event boasts a star-studded ensemble of performers including Calema, Dillaz, Cuca Roseta, D-A-D, Quinta do Bill, and Iris, among others.

This year marks the 26th edition of the Feira Raiana, which moves between Portugal and Spain. Set in Idanha-a-Nova, in the Castelo Branco district, the fair is themed “A People with a Distinct Identity: The Commitment That Unites Us.” The aim of this cross-border cooperation fair is to highlight the region’s potential by uniting local producers, artisans, businesses, and institutions under the Raiana identity.

Emphasizing cultural accessibility and economic revitalization, the Idanha-a-Nova City Council has ensured that admission to the Feira Raiana is free on all days of the event. With an impressive lineup of artists, festival-goers can expect performances by Calema, Dillaz, Cuca Roseta, D-A-D, Quinta do Bill, Puro Rock, Raya, Iris, Ciranda, and the Filarmónica Idanhense.

The fair’s musical offerings are spread across multiple main stages, with daily concerts commencing on the 22nd at 10:00 PM on the Adufe Stage with Quinta do Bill. Portuguese rapper Dillaz will follow at 11:30 PM on the Feira Raiana Stage the same day. The next day will see Puro Rock on Adufe Stage at 10:00 PM, while Cuca Roseta will captivate audiences at 11:30 PM on the Feira Raiana Stage.

On the 24th, Raya will grace the Adufe Stage at 10:00 PM, and D-A-D will rock the Feira Raiana Stage at 11:30 PM. Iris will perform at 10:00 PM on the Adufe Stage on the 25th, followed by Calema at 11:30 PM. As the festivities draw to a close on the 26th, Grupo Ciranda will take the Adufe Stage at 10:00 PM, and Filarmónica Idanhense & Guests will wrap up the event at 11:30 PM on the Feira Raiana Stage.

Organizers have indicated that additional musical acts will be announced in the near future, promising even more excitement at the Feira Raiana this year.
