ATEEZ achieves third Billboard No. 1 with ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5’
The talented eight-member group ATEEZ has once again claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their latest EP, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5. This achievement marks the third time that ATEEZ has reached No. 1 on the prestigious chart, following the success of GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2 in 2024 and THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL in 2023. The new EP has been met with resounding success, selling over 1.88 million copies globally and earning 228,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending July 3. This impressive feat represents a new career-high for the group.
Of the 228,000 units sold, 223,000 were pure album sales, another career-high for ATEEZ, landing the project at the No. 1 spot on the Top Album Sales chart as well. Streaming equivalent audio units made up the remaining roughly 5,000 units, equivalent to approximately 4.96 million on-demand official streams. The full rankings of the Billboard 200 chart will be available on the Billboard website on July 7.
ATEEZ’s remarkable success extends beyond their No. 1 ranking on the Billboard 200. With nine consecutive top 10 albums on the chart, ATEEZ has outshined their peers as the group with the most top 10 albums this decade, surpassing Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. The group’s latest EP, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5, features five tracks, with the title track “BAD” leading the way.
