Biggest indoor indie festival in Plymouth starts this weekend
Plymouth is preparing for a thrilling guitar-centric music festival this weekend, featuring one of the UK’s most exciting new bands. The Molotovs, a mod-punk group, will be the headlining act on the festival’s second night. Comprised of siblings Mathew and Issey Cartlidge, along with drummer Noah Riley, The Molotovs have made waves in the music scene. Their album “Wasted on Youth” reached number one on the UK album download chart this year, and they have graced the stages of popular TV shows like ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
The festival, labeled as the largest indoor indie rock event in Plymouth’s history, will kick off on Friday, July 10th, with Mercury-nominated Kyle Falconer headlining the opening night. Over the course of the two-day festival, 30 bands will be performing on three stages, with additional DJ sets to keep the energy high. The event will be open to the public starting from 5pm on Friday and 4pm on Saturday.
