Nothing More has once again proven their musical prowess with their latest single, “House on Sand,” climbing to the number one spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. This achievement marks the band’s third chart-topping single from their album “Carnal,” solidifying their status as rock music heavyweights. Notably, I Prevail’s Eric Vanlerberghe joined forces with the band on this track, adding his unique vocal style to the mix.

Lead singer Jonny Hawkins celebrated the band’s success in a recent Instagram post, drawing a parallel between their chart-topping singles and a hat trick in hockey, humorously referring to them as an “ass kicking.” This playful analogy captures the band’s excitement and pride in achieving three consecutive number one hits on the radio.

In addition to their success on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, “House on Sand” also reached the top spot on the Mediabase Active Rock chart, further solidifying Nothing More’s influence and popularity in the rock music scene. This latest achievement follows the band’s previous hits, “If It Doesn’t Hurt” and “Angel Song,” both of which spent two weeks at number one in 2024. Notably, David Draiman from Disturbed collaborated with the band on “Angel Song,” contributing to its chart-topping success.

With a track record of hits, including their first number one single, “Go to War,” in 2017, Nothing More continues to rise to the top of the charts. The release of their album “Carnal” last July was met with critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching number nine on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. Since its release, the album has garnered impressive numbers, with 73,000 equivalent album units sold and 133 million streams.

The impact of “House on Sand” extends beyond the charts, as the song has resonated with fans worldwide, garnering 2.2 million listeners and climbing to number 14 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. Additionally, the track made waves on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, securing the number 11 spot and further solidifying Nothing More’s position as a dominant force in the rock music scene.

In a rare achievement, Nothing More has joined the ranks of Falling in Reverse as one of the few bands to achieve three number one singles from a single album. This accomplishment speaks to the band’s talent, dedication, and ability to resonate with audiences on a profound level. As they continue to break boundaries and captivate listeners with their music, Nothing More’s future in the rock music industry looks brighter than ever.
