Adam played a significant role in the creation of Dropout Kings in 2016 and lent his vocals to their albums, AudioDope and Riot Music. The band, originally named Phoenix Down, underwent a name change the following year. A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Adam’s family during this difficult time.

In a touching tribute, Adam’s brother-in-law shared, “On May 19th, just five days before his 32nd birthday, we lost Adam Ramey to suicide after a long and painful battle with addiction. He wasn’t just my brother-in-law; he was like a real brother to me. He brought life and energy to every room, every family gathering, and every stage he stepped on.”

Adam was a devoted husband and father, described as an incredible uncle, friend, and human being. His passing has left his family and loved ones devastated, with his wife facing the unimaginable heartbreak of losing her partner and having to navigate the financial burden of funeral expenses.

The band also took to social media to honor their frontman, expressing their deep sorrow at his passing. They highlighted Adam’s passion, energy, and love for music, emphasizing the impact he had on their lives.
