Relative of missing Offaly man empathizes with Fiona Pender’s family
Nathan Price, the sibling of Luke Price, who has been missing since January, has expressed his hope that, if his brother has passed away, his remains would be found to prevent his family from experiencing the anguish that Fiona Pender’s family went through. Nathan Price made these remarks during a heavy metal and rock festival in Tullamore aimed at creating awareness about Luke’s disappearance and raising funds for the National Missing Persons Helpline.
Luke Price had been residing close to Portlaoise and would frequently visit his partner in Limerick. His last known location was in the Dock Road area of Limerick after departing from O’Curry Street on January 14. Despite numerous search efforts and widespread publicity, he remains missing. The festival, which took place on Saturday at John Lee’s Bar and Venue, featured performances by nearly a dozen bands from various parts of the country.
Organized by War of Attrition, a band based in Limerick with Nathan Price as the lead vocalist, the event featured several groups that Luke admired and followed. Nathan Price, prior to his band’s performance to conclude the festival, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support from Tullamore and the smooth operation of the event.
He highlighted the exceptional turnout and the tremendous backing received from the local community. Nathan Price commended every aspect of the festival and acknowledged the seamless management of the event. The main objective of the festival was to create a platform for musicians to perform and show solidarity in raising awareness about Luke Price’s disappearance.
