KARABA F.C. debut new song “Tides”
Parisian post-hardcore band KARABA F.C. has been gaining momentum in the French underground scene since 2019 and is now making a splash with their upcoming debut album, “Symbionts.” The album, set to release on October 17th via Voice of the Unheard, offers listeners a taste of the band’s unique blend of emotional intensity and melodic depth. The album’s lead single, “Tides,” is due to drop on July 4th, presenting a raw and powerful track that captures the essence of KARABA F.C.’s musical prowess.
The music video for “Tides” takes viewers on a captivating visual journey, weaving together poignant scenes from archival films obtained from La Cinémathèque de Bretagne. These fragmented images, depicting family rituals, seascapes, and ecological tragedies, are interspersed with the band’s signature blend of abrasive energy and delicate melodies. Drawing inspiration from bands like Touché Amoré, Basement, and State Faults, KARABA F.C. infuses their music with a sense of urgency, introspection, and unease.
Recorded at La Cuve in Angers with Elliot Aschard and STW, the album was expertly mastered by Magnus Lindberg, renowned for his work with bands like Cult of Luna and Russian Circles. Spanning nine tracks and 39 minutes, “Symbionts” offers a dynamic and emotionally-charged sonic landscape where indie influences collide with post-hardcore structures. From danceable melodies to jagged riffs, the album showcases the band’s versatility and creativity.
Comprising Émile, Clément, Olivier, and Jordan, KARABA F.C. has already made a mark with their previous EPs and live performances alongside notable acts like GILLIAN CARTER and VIBORA. Their latest offering, “Symbionts,” promises to push the boundaries of their sound even further, solidifying their position in the realm of alternative rock and post-hardcore music.
As the release date of “Symbionts” draws near, fans can look forward to experiencing the full scope of KARABA F.C.’s artistic vision and sonic evolution. With a sound that is both refreshing and emotive, the band continues to captivate audiences and establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the indie music scene.
