Cheap Trick, the legendary rock band, has exciting news for fans as they announce the upcoming release of their 21st album, titled “All Washed Up,” set to hit shelves on November 14 via BMG Records. The album’s lead single, “Twelve Gates,” gives listeners a taste of what’s to come.

The band teamed up with producer Julian Raymond and mix master Chris Lord to work on the album at renowned studios in Nashville before wrapping up the recording process at Sweetzerland Studios in Los Angeles. Through a combination of short bursts of intense work and long studio sessions, Cheap Trick was able to bring their new music to life.

Lead singer Robin Zander expressed his excitement for the upcoming album, describing it as just another fantastic addition to the band’s impressive discography. With nearly five decades of experience under their belt, Cheap Trick continues to prove themselves as one of the best rock bands in the world.

“All Washed Up” will feature 11 tracks and will be available in various formats such as digital downloads, CDs, standard black vinyl, and a limited edition “Orange Marble” vinyl, of which only 1,000 copies will be made available through the band’s official store. Fans can expect a mix of classic Cheap Trick sound and new musical directions in this upcoming release.

Having sold over 20 million albums worldwide since their formation in 1974, Cheap Trick has solidified their status as rock icons. Their breakthrough came in 1979 with the release of “Cheap Trick at Budokan,” which spawned hits like “I Want You To Want Me” and “Surrender.” In recognition of their contributions to music, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

In addition to the album release, Cheap Trick is gearing up for an extensive tour throughout late 2025, kicking things off at the Oregon State Fair in Salem on August 28. The band will crisscross the country, culminating in a special performance at Japan’s Budokan on October 1, where their live album was recorded.

Fans can catch Cheap Trick alongside Heart as opening acts on select dates in November and December. Highlights of the tour include shows at iconic venues like the Honda Center in Anaheim on November 18 and the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on November 23. The band wraps up the year with a final show at Music Hall in Waukee, Iowa, on December 7.

As the release date of “All Washed Up” approaches, Cheap Trick fans have much to look forward to in terms of new music and live performances from one of rock’s most enduring and influential bands.
