Government Mule reveals New Year’s Eve intentions in New York
Gov’t Mule has disclosed their plans for their annual year-end performances. The band, led by Warren Haynes, will be performing three concerts in New York towards the end of the year. The first show is scheduled for December 28 at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York. Following this performance, Gov’t Mule will move on to the Beacon Theatre for their traditional New Year’s Eve shows on December 30 and 31. The upcoming New Year’s Eve concert will be a tribute to the music of 1971.
“This New Year’s Eve, we will be celebrating the music of 1971,” Haynes mentioned, describing it as potentially the most exceptional year in the history of rock music. A social media post highlighted that the year 1971 significantly influenced the music that defined an entire generation.
An exclusive artist presale begins on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET, followed by presales for local promoters and the venue on Thursday at the same time. Ticket sales for the general public will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Currently, Gov’t Mule is taking a break from their Back in the Saddle tour, with their next show scheduled for October 10 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
