Michael Jackson has two songs on Billboard Global Charts in November 2025

Michael Jackson’s iconic songs “Beat It” and “Billie Jean” have recently made a resurgence on Billboard’s worldwide rankings. While “Beat It” entered the charts for the first time, “Billie Jean” climbed to a higher position than before. As of this week, “Beat It” holds the No. 171 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 188 on the Billboard Global 200. Meanwhile, “Billie Jean” has reached No. 44 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 49 on the Billboard Global 200, marking its 118th week on the latter chart after having spent two full years on the former.

Both of these hit songs are from Jackson’s record-breaking album, Thriller, which currently sits at No. 40 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, Thriller holds the No. 20 position on the Billboard 50 Album Sales and No. 7 on the Billboard 500 Catalogue Albums charts. The Essential Michael Jackson has secured the No. 9 spot on the UK Top 100 Albums chart, while Bad and Thriller landed at No. 83 and No. 87, respectively, on the same ranking.

In the Netherlands, Thriller stands at No. 29 on the Top 100 Albums chart, with Bad following at No. 73, and “Billie Jean” claiming the No. 78 spot on the Top 100 Singles chart. Jackson’s enduring popularity is further evidenced by “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” receiving 2x Platinum certification in the UK for selling over 1.2 million units. Similarly, “Billie Jean” achieved 2x Platinum status in Greece, re-entering the Top 100 International Tracks chart at No. 85.

The recent release of a biopic trailer has reignited interest in Jackson’s music, leading to a resurgence of his recordings on various music charts worldwide. Notably, three of Jackson’s albums have entered the UK Top 100, showcasing the enduring appeal and impact of his music on audiences across the globe.
