Dana Fuchs reveals upcoming album ‘Live In Denmark’ focusing on rock and blues music
Dana Fuchs is thrilled to announce her latest live album, “Live In Denmark,” showcasing her exceptional talent as a blues-rock vocalist. Recorded in one unforgettable night at Godset in Kolding, Denmark, in October 2025, this album captures the raw intensity and emotional depth that have defined Fuchs as a compelling artist in the contemporary music scene.
The recording process for “Live In Denmark” was unique, with no overdubs or post-production fixes, allowing Fuchs’ voice, guitars, bass, and drums to shine through in a fearless and unfiltered manner. What began as a high-pressure session during her fall Danish tour turned into a deeply personal moment of artistic revelation for Fuchs.
Reflecting on the experience, Fuchs shared, “Last fall, I went to Denmark for a mini tour, and my label Ruf Records & my manager decided we should record a live album there. My previous record, Borrowed Time, was under-served because of the pandemic, and this felt like a chance to make things right. But here’s the thing, we had ONE night to capture it. No safety net, no second chances, no fixing anything in post. Just my voice, guitar, bass, and drums, and a short time to mix. I was skeptical, to say the least.”
Following a period of personal and professional challenges, the recording session became a cathartic moment for Fuchs, showcasing her raw and honest performance in ways she never expected. The resulting album stands as a testament to Fuchs’ resilience and authenticity as an artist, highlighting her legendary stage presence in its purest form.
In discussing the impact of “Live In Denmark,” Fuchs expressed, “This album Live in Denmark is raw, honest, and alive in ways I didn’t think were possible to capture. It’s me at my most vulnerable and most powerful, all at once. Thanks for sticking with me through everything. I cannot wait to get back out there starting in Germany this spring and share this music with all of you again.”
Accompanied by her talented band, including Jon Diamond, Kevin Mackall, and Piero Perelli, Fuchs is set to embark on a European tour in spring 2026, bringing the energy of “Live In Denmark” to audiences across the region.
With tracks like “Double Down On Wrong” and “Sympathy For The Devil,” this album is a testament to Fuchs’ artistry and passion for music. The sincerity and power of Fuchs’ vocals are sure to captivate listeners and reaffirm her status as one of the genre’s most authentic performers.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Dana Fuchs’ live album, “Live In Denmark,” a raw and unforgettable musical journey that celebrates the essence of blues-rock in its purest form.
