There’s no excuse for boredom with a variety of events happening this week in Greenpoint!
On Thursday, September 18th, Senator Kristen Gonzalez will be hosting office hours at the Greenpoint Library, where you can get help with state or city council issues. Additionally, there will be a housing legal clinic available for consultation and advice on repair issues, eviction information, and more.
Later in the day, there will be an open studio session at the library for artists of all levels to work on their projects. Instruction is not provided, but art materials and professional expertise will be available for use.
If you’re in the mood for singing, head over to 100 Sutton St. for a one-day choir event featuring Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature.” And for those interested in experimental art, Taku Sando is hosting an audio-visual performance blending sounds, visuals, and movement.
