AC/DC’s highly anticipated 2025 Australian tour has gotten even more exciting with the addition of five exceptional local acts to the lineup. The complete stadium tour will now feature a lineup filled with a celebration of Australian rock, as The Casanovas, Large Mirage, Oscar The Wild, Southern River Band, and Headsend have all been confirmed as supporting acts across the nation.

TEG Van Egmond promoter Christo Van Egmond believes that fans are in for an unforgettable rock experience. “These amazing homegrown artists truly showcase the best of Australian rock music today,” Van Egmond expresses. “With Amyl & The Sniffers already in the lineup, fans can expect a thrilling night of rock and roll from start to finish.”

Melbourne’s own The Casanovas will kick off the shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on both opening nights. Since their formation in 1999, The Casanovas have gained recognition for their raw, riff-heavy energy and dedication to classic rock vibes. With their self-titled debut album released in 2004, the band has toured internationally with renowned acts like The Datsuns, Motorhead, and The Darkness. Decades later, they continue to be one of Australia’s most dynamic and relentless live performers, perfectly setting the stage for AC/DC’s return.

In Sydney, the stage at Accor Stadium will belong to Large Mirage, a local group renowned for blending bluesy rock elements with modern vigor. Their sound pays homage to the stadium-filling riffs of the 1970s, embodying an old-school intensity that aligns perfectly with the AC/DC spirit. Large Mirage’s reputation as one of Sydney’s most intense live bands makes them a fitting choice for the city’s two epic nights.

Adelaide will witness a sonic explosion when Oscar The Wild takes the stage at the bp Adelaide Grand Final. The South Australian band has been making waves with their infectious, hard-hitting rock sound through relentless touring and catchy songwriting. When Oscar The Wild kicks off the night, there will be no room for slow beginnings before AC/DC’s electrifying performance.

In Perth, the beloved Western Australian favorites Southern River Band will bring their signature showmanship to Optus Stadium. Led by frontman Cal Kramer, the band’s mix of blistering guitars, humor, and raw energy has earned them a devoted following nationwide. With their high-energy performances and retro vibe, they are sure to set the stage for one of the biggest hard rock acts in the world.

Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium will shake early each night as the up-and-coming heavy rockers Headsend unleash their powerful sound. Known for their crushing riffs and intense delivery, Headsend has carved out a name for themselves on the local circuit and are now poised for the biggest stage of their career. Their addition completes a national lineup that pays tribute to every facet of Australia’s rock heritage.

AC/DC’s 2025 tour marks their return to Australian stadiums after years, with frontman Brian Johnson and lead guitarist Angus Young leading the way. Their last Australian tour during the Rock Or Bust era in 2015 drew over half a million fans nationwide. The anticipation for their thunderous return in 2025 promises to be even greater, bringing together fans of all ages under AC/DC’s iconic rock legacy. With Amyl & The Sniffers already confirmed as direct support, the addition of the five new opening acts only adds to the excitement of what promises to be an unforgettable rock extravaganza.
