Sick New World metal rock festival expands to Fort Worth, TX
A unique music festival is making its way to Fort Worth, Texas, expanding its reach beyond its traditional Las Vegas location. Sick New World, a hard rock and metal celebration that has been a staple in Vegas, is branching out to Texas. The inaugural Fort Worth edition is set to take place at the Texas Motor Speedway on October 24, 2026, promising an electrifying lineup of more than 50 bands that rock the hard rock and metal genres.
Among the headliners for the Fort Worth show are System of a Down, Deftones, Slayer, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy, Mastodon, Clutch, Failure, the Melvins, and many more. The Las Vegas showcase, scheduled six months earlier on April 25, will also feature a plethora of these renowned bands, ensuring a high-octane experience for attendees.
Sick New World first made its mark in 2023 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, sporting four stages and attracting a crowd of about 85,000 people, thanks to headliner System of a Down. After a successful debut, the festival returned in 2024, only to face a cancelation in 2025 due to unforeseen circumstances related to overpayment of headliners by the event’s former booker.
Now, the festival is back with a Texas twist, courtesy of C3 Presents, the organizing company behind over 30 major festivals worldwide, including popular events like the Austin City Limits Music Festival. While the motivation for bringing Sick New World to Fort Worth remains undisclosed, C3’s extensive involvement in the Texas music scene may have played a role in this decision.
Ticket options for the event vary, with general admission starting at $300. GA+ passes, offering access to shaded seating, air-conditioned restrooms, and on-site dining options, are priced at $525. VIP tickets, which grant perks like preferred viewing areas, an exclusive lounge, and dedicated entry lanes, start at $650. For the ultimate experience, fans can opt for the Ultimate VIP pass at $1,595, which includes top-tier amenities such as elevated stage views, VIP concierge service, drink vouchers, meal options, and more.
As excitement builds for the festival, fans can visit the official Sick New World website to sign up for newsletters and SMS alerts for early access to ticket sales. The presale for tickets begins on Friday, October 24 at 10 am, with any remaining passes going on sale to the public on the same day.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this epic music event as Sick New World brings its signature hard rock and metal showcase to Fort Worth for an unforgettable experience that promises to rock the Lone Star State to its core.
