X Marks the Pedwalk, a German synthpop/electro-industrial duo, recently unveiled a new music video for their track “Bury Me” from their upcoming album “Insomnia,” set to be released on November 27, 2025, through Meshwork Music. The album consists of 10 tracks and will be available in CD and digital formats.

This latest video release follows their previous clips for the album’s opening track, “A Heart in the Dark,” and the lead single, “Light Your Mind,” which was released on June 20, 2025.

“Insomnia” marks X Marks the Pedwalk’s 13th studio album and is currently open for pre-orders on Bandcamp. The music and production for the album were overseen by Sevren Ni-Arb, with lyrics written by Sevren Ni-Arb & LMX. The mastering of the album was handled by Olaf Wollschläger at Cottonbeat Studio.

X Marks the Pedwalk originated in Germany in 1987, founded by Sevren Ni-Arb (also known as André Schmechta) and Regan Eracs (Jörg Böhme). Their early releases were featured on Talla 2XLC’s Zoth Ommog label, with North American editions released by Cleopatra and Metropolis.

During the years 1990-1996, the group released several albums including “Freaks,” “Human Desolation,” “The Killing Had Begun,” “Meshwork,” and “Drawback.” Following a hiatus, X Marks the Pedwalk made a comeback in 2010 with “Inner Zone Journey” and continued to release albums like “The Sun, The Cold and My Underwater Fear” (2012), “The House of Rain” (2015), “Secrets” (2017), “Transformation” (2020), “New / End” (2022), and “Superstition” (2023).

Since the mid-2010s, the band’s releases have been under Schmechta’s Meshwork Music label. The current lineup consists of Sevren Ni-Arb and Estefanía, and the band is currently based in Münster, Germany.
