Famous metal band reveals North American tour dates
l North American dates as part of its extensive global tour scheduled for the upcoming year.The Run for Your Lives tour bypasses Cleveland, with shows planned in Toronto, Hershey, PA, and Chicago. Iron Maiden will be the main act at the renowned rock festival Louder Than Life at the Highland Festival Grounds in Louisville, Kentucky. Joining them on this momentous tour will be the popular metal bands Megadeth and Anthrax. The tour has been organized to celebrate Iron Maiden’s remarkable 50th anniversary and tickets are set to go on sale starting October 31.“We are eagerly anticipating bringing this ‘Run for Your Lives Tour’ to North America and we hope that the fans will relish the opportunity to experience the show and enjoy the set list as much as we relish performing it,” the band’s bassist, Steve Harris, expressed in a formal statement. “Having some of our dear friends join us on this tour adds an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to the experience.”Iron Maiden, originating from England back in 1975, boasts an impressive record of selling around 130 million recordings worldwide; however, the band has yet to be inducted into the esteemed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The North American leg of the tour is lined up as follows: Aug. 29 in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena with Megadeth; Sept. 3 in Montréal at Parc Jean-Drapeau with Megadeth and Anthrax; Sept. 5 in Harrison, New Jersey, at Sports Illustrated Stadium with Megadeth and Anthrax; Sept. 9 in Boston at TD Garden with Megadeth; Sept. 11 in Bristow, Virginia at Jiffy Lube Live with Megadeth; Sept. 12 in Charlotte, North Carolina, at PNC Music Pavilion with Megadeth; Sept. 15 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, at Hersheypark Stadium with Megadeth; Sept. 17 in Louisville, Kentucky, at the Louder Than Life Festival; Sept. 19 in Shakopee, Minnesota, at Mystic Lake Amphitheater with Megadeth; Sept. 22 in Chicago, Illinois, at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre with Megadeth; Sept. 25 in Los Angeles, California, at BMO Stadium with Megadeth and Anthrax; and Sept. 29 in San Antonio, Texas, at Alamodome with Megadeth and Anthrax.
