Bon Jovi recently gave their devoted fans an exclusive sneak peek of songs from their upcoming album, Forever (Legendary Edition), at the iHeartRadio Album Preview event. Jon Bon Jovi himself was present at the event, discussing the album and more in an intimate interview with iHeartRadio’s Valentine.

Among the songs featured from Forever (Legendary Edition) were “Hollow Man” with Bruce Springsteen, “Living Proof” with Jelly Roll, “Red White and Jersey,” “Living in Paradise” with Avril Lavigne, and “Seeds” with Ryan Tedder. When asked about the decision to re-record the 2024 album Legendary instead of creating a new one, Bon Jovi explained the reasoning behind the move. He mentioned that after the release of Forever last year, accompanied by the documentary Thank You, Goodnight, plans to tour for the band’s 40th anniversary were jeopardized due to his vocal surgery and recovery. Realizing the importance of live performances to support an album, Bon Jovi made the choice to bring in friends and artists to re-record previous songs, providing a fresh perspective and showcasing his healed voice in a unique and diverse way.

The collaboration with Bruce Springsteen on the track “Hollow Man” was a particularly standout moment for Bon Jovi. Describing the experience of having The Boss approve of and feature on his song, he expressed his gratitude for Springsteen’s appreciation of the track. Another collaboration that stood out was the song “Seeds” with Ryan Tedder, paying homage to The Beatles and George Martin. Bon Jovi highlighted the significance of working with Tedder on this track and enlisting David Campbell, known for his string arrangements on various rock records, to contribute to the song’s arrangement.

Exciting news for fans came with the announcement of Bon Jovi hitting the road for their 2026 “Forever Tour,” including multiple dates at Madison Square Garden in New York City. In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, Jon Bon Jovi expressed his joy at being able to reunite with the band and perform for their loyal fans. He emphasized the importance of the collective experience of live concerts and the gratitude he felt towards the fans for their patience and support during his recovery period. Speaking with Valentine, Bon Jovi reflected on his desire to have people come to them, reflecting on the band’s choice to invite fans to their performances rather than touring extensively.

Overall, the iHeartRadio Album Preview event provided Bon Jovi fans with an exclusive glimpse into the band’s latest musical endeavors and upcoming tour plans, highlighting the passion and dedication of the iconic rock group.
