Three different celebrities collaborate in downtown Las Vegas for a classic Vegas video.
In a surprising turn of events, a trio of superstars was spotted away from the usual glitz of the Strip right in downtown Las Vegas. Internationally renowned DJ David Guetta, the genre-crossing talent Teddy Swims, and the Australian sensation known for “Dance Monkey,” Tones and I, teamed up to shoot a music video for their new single “Gone Gone Gone” in our city.
Recently shared on YouTube, the music video showcases Las Vegas in all its glory. The storyline follows a young couple as they embark on an adventure in the heart of Sin City. The journey takes them to various iconic locations, such as an undisclosed bar where Teddy Swims is shown indulging in a shot and finally landing on the vibrant Fremont Street. The trio delivers their performance in the parking lot of Desert Star Motel, accompanied by Elvis tribute artists Brendan Paul, Ron DeCar, and Jason Marquez who added to the scene’s energy.
The video further captures a wedding ceremony at the renowned Viva Las Vegas Chapel, located near the intersection of Charleston and Las Vegas Boulevard. However, the festivities take an unexpected turn when a mysterious individual intervenes, stirring up some vintage-Vegas drama. The story unfolds, revealing Swims walking alone along the highway, hinting at his true feelings for Lola. The video concludes with another elusive pink Cadillac speeding off, leaving viewers in suspense about its passengers.
Throughout the video, scenes from various establishments like the Golden Nugget, Golden Gate, and Circa merge seamlessly to create an authentic Vegas experience. Notable locations such as the Plaza Hotel shine brilliantly, offering a classic Vegas ambiance that perfectly complements the narrative. Interestingly, the production coincided with the filming of Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning’s scenes for Apple TV+ series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” at the Plaza. Plaza CEO Jonathan Jossel shared that the film crews’ schedules were adjusted to accommodate each other, resulting in a bustling day of filming in downtown Vegas.
The Plaza Hotel has become a popular filming destination, having welcomed superstars like The Weeknd, the Killers, and U2 for music videos. By creating a film-friendly environment set against the historic backdrop of downtown Las Vegas, Plaza Hotel has solidified its place as the go-to venue for filmmakers. Jossel and marketing executive Natashia White’s ability to seamlessly manage such shoots on short notice underlines the hotel’s appeal as a versatile and welcoming location for various projects.
