Tool and My Chemical Romance to Headline Sonic Temple 2026 Festival in Columbus with 140-Band Lineup
Tool, My Chemical Romance, Shinedown, and Bring Me the Horizon are set to lead the lineup of over 140 bands at the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled to take place from May 14 to 17, 2026. Joining them on the five stages will be bands such as Pierce the Veil, Breaking Benjamin, Lamb of God, All Time Low, Public Enemy, Coheed & Cambria, Black Label Society, Tom Morello, Anthrax, DragonForce, Coal Chamber, the Darkness, Alter Bridge, Sublime, Hawthorne Heights, and Simple Plan.
For the first time, Sonic Temple will feature five stages instead of the usual four, with Danny Wimmer Presents organizing the festival. Brent Smith of Shinedown expressed excitement about the opportunity to headline Sonic Temple for the first time, promising an unforgettable performance for their fans. The lineup is designed to meet high expectations, with performances across three days by top bands like Shinedown, Bring Me the Horizon, and Tool.
When it comes to the art aspect of the festival, American painter Terry Urban and Jay Howell of Bob’s Burgers fame will collaborate on installations throughout the venue.
