Local alternative rock band Brad Hunter & The Afterparty has recently released their debut album, “Take Care,” marking their first musical venture since the band’s formation earlier this year.

Hailing from the Shropshire/Powys border, the alt-rock trio showcases a collection of songs that have been in the making for the past two years. Frontman Brad Hunter, who spent time living in New Zealand, drew inspiration for some of the album’s tracks from his experiences in the Wellington region.

As a BBC Introducing artist with a solid track record spanning over a decade, Hunter’s songwriting prowess has consistently resonated with audiences, setting the stage for the band’s much-anticipated debut album release.

Consisting of Billy Tunnicliffe on drums and Rob Breeze on bass, Brad Hunter & The Afterparty is renowned for its electrifying live performances that often involve active audience participation both on and off the stage.

Their musical style has drawn comparisons to established artists such as Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys, and Cage the Elephant, reflecting a diverse blend of indie flair, poignant ballads, and infectious euphoria.

“Take Care” is now available for streaming on all major platforms and can also be purchased in CD format at the band’s live shows and at the Arwen Gallery in Llanfyllin.

Fans and music enthusiasts alike can immerse themselves in the band’s compelling soundscapes, characterized by a unique blend of raw energy, heartfelt lyricism, and dynamic musical arrangements that encapsulate the essence of Brad Hunter & The Afterparty’s musical journey.
