Greek death/thrash powerhouse, Cremate, has released a music video for their latest single, “Die As You Lived.” This track is part of their latest EP, Ready To Fight, which is now available via Wormholedeath. The song serves as a stark declaration of death with no redemption, denouncing deception and insincerity with unwavering intensity. Notably, Charalampos Paritsis, also known as Lusty Apricot, makes a significant appearance on the song with his haunting violin performance, adding a unique element to the band’s already aggressive sound. “Die As You Lived” stands as a brutal and candid farewell to those who have lived aimlessly, compelling listeners to confront the false realities upon which they have built their lives.

Originating in Alimos, Athens, in 1991, Cremate takes inspiration from revered bands in the genre like Kreator and Sodom. Following the release of their 1993 demo, “End of Time,” and the 1995 EP, “Enchanting Black Recess,” the band disbanded. However, they made a comeback in 2021 with founder Christos reuniting with drummer George and guitarist Akis Pastras, intending to revisit their original material with a modern production approach.

Their latest EP, Ready To Fight, comprises four tracks, including three classic songs that have been revamped and a new title track that features a guest solo by Nightrage’s Marios Iliopoulos. The EP was recorded and mixed by Akis Pastras and mastered by George Nerantzis, known for his work with Rotting Christ and Abbath.

Fans can stream Ready To Fight on various streaming platforms. This release signifies Cremate’s resurgence with a fresh take on their timeless material, promising a thrilling listening experience for both old and new fans alike.
