US-based trio Ritual Arcana has released a new music video for their song “Subtle Fruits” from their upcoming debut album. The self-titled record is set to be released on January 23rd by Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

Although a new band, Ritual Arcana consists of established heavy music veterans. The iconic “Godfather of Doom” Scott “Wino” Weinrich contributes on guitar, known for his work with bands like The Obsessed, Saint Vitus, and Spirit Caravan. The lineup also includes bassist and vocalist SharLee LuckyFree, formerly of Moth, and drummer Oakley Munson, previously with Black Lips.

The band describes the meaning behind their latest single “Subtle Fruits” as representing the pain of unfulfilled desires and the struggle of breaking old habits. The track delves into dark themes, depicting a sense of being trapped in the underworld with no escape from demons.

Their upcoming album promises a blend of doom, hard rock, and supernatural elements. Described as a transformative journey, the record explores themes of death, resurrection, and cosmic awakening. Fans of Wino’s previous work and 70s occult rock can expect a captivating experience with Ritual Arcana’s debut.

The album will be available in various formats including LP, CD, and digital. Fans can watch the music video for “Subtle Fruits” to get a taste of what’s to come from Ritual Arcana.
