Tankard’s latest album, titled “RE-IMAGINED SONGBOOK,” brings forth a new musical chapter in his illustrious career as the Godfather of Gospel Jazz. This distinguished album, which marks his BEST Smooth/Gospel/Jazz endeavor to date, consists of 14 carefully selected tracks that amalgamate both his personal favorites and beloved songs by popular artists, all reimagined and delivered with Tankard’s signature touch.

Kicking off the album is Tankard’s sophisticated rendition of Tamia’s hit “Can’t Get Enough,” which became the catalyst for the viral Tamia Line Dance. Throughout the album, Tankard collaborates with esteemed artists such as Gerald Albright on “Like The Dew” originally by Judith McAllister, Kirk Whalum on “It’s Working” by William Murphy, and Marion Meadows on the hit single “Rise,” claiming the top spot on Billboard Smooth Jazz Airplay/Mediabase Smooth Jazz Radio charts.
