Aerosmith and Yungblud’s “One More Time” Debuts at No. 1 on Various Billboard Charts
Aerosmith and Yungblud have achieved a significant feat with their collaborative EP, “One More Time,” debuting at the number one spot on four different Billboard album charts. This joint effort pulled in 39,000 equivalent album units in the United States for the week ending November 27, with the majority of those, 37,000, coming from pure album sales, as reported by Luminate.
The EP has made its mark on various charts, including the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, where it has given Yungblud his first number one, and marked Aerosmith’s return to the top after more than a decade. Their last number one on this chart was in 2012 with “Music From Another Dimension!” – their most recent collection of new material before joining forces with Yungblud. Yungblud’s highest peak on this ranking before was the number eight debut of his self-titled album in 2022.
“One More Time” has also claimed the top spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums, becoming Aerosmith’s third chart-topper following “Music From Another Dimension!” and their 2023 “Greatest Hits” release. This achievement marks Yungblud’s first appearance on this chart. Moreover, the EP has landed at number one on both Top Rock Albums and Indie Store Album Sales.
The success of this collaboration extends beyond genre-specific charts, as “One More Time” has made a notable debut on the prestigious Billboard 200 at number nine. This feat has placed Aerosmith in an elite category, with top 10 albums in each decade from the 1970s through the 2020s, joining the ranks of legendary artists such as Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and James Taylor in achieving this six-decade milestone.
On the songs charts, “One More Time” has made waves on the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking dated December 6, with the lead single ‘My Only Angel’ securing the number 11 spot. The track garnered 2.7 million radio audience impressions, 723,000 official US streams, and 1,000 downloads for the week ending November 27. Notably, ‘My Only Angel’ has climbed from 7 to 6 on Mainstream Rock Airplay, marking Aerosmith’s first top 10 on that chart in 21 years.
The impressive chart performances of the collaboration between Yungblud and Aerosmith clearly indicate the massive success and impact they have achieved. This remarkable achievement underscores the power and appeal of their music, resonating strongly with audiences across different charts and genres.
