Aerosmith has accomplished a rare feat on the Billboard charts with their latest EP, “One More Time.” Teaming up with British rocker Yungblud on this collaborative project, the band entered the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 at No. 9. This achievement solidifies Aerosmith as only the fifth act in history, and the second group, to achieve a newly-charting Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.

In achieving this milestone, Aerosmith now shares this honor with other music legends such as Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and James Taylor. Looking back at Aerosmith’s impressive chart history, the band’s journey to the Top 10 began in the mid-’70s when they first rose to fame. Their first Top 10 album of the ’70s was 1976’s “Rocks,” peaking at No. 3. Despite other successful releases like “Toys in the Attic” and “Draw the Line” which peaked at No. 11, Aerosmith made a strong return to the Top 10 with 1989’s “Pump,” reaching No. 5. This streak continued into the ’90s with back-to-back No. 1 albums, “Get a Grip” in 1993 and “Nine Lives” in 1997.

Heading into the new millennium, Aerosmith maintained their chart-topping success with 2001’s “Just Push Play” landing at No. 2. Subsequent albums like “Honkin’ on Bobo” in 2004 and “Music From Another Dimension!” in 2012 both peaked at No. 5. After a hiatus following the cancellation of their Peace Out farewell tour in 2023 due to Steven Tyler’s vocal injury, Aerosmith returned with “One More Time,” marking their first release in a while.

This EP, which includes four new songs co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud, along with a 2025 remix of the classic “Back in the Saddle,” was preceded by the lead single “My Only Angel,” which also saw an acoustic remix featuring Steve Martin on banjo. Notably, Tyler, Joe Perry, and Yungblud paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV VMAs with a performance of Osbourne’s hit “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”

Aerosmith’s longevity and ability to reinvent themselves over the decades have solidified their status as rock icons and chart-toppers. With their latest success on the Billboard charts, the band continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with their music.
