Alter Bridge Unveil Latest Single “Playing Aces”
Alter Bridge, a prominent rock band, has recently unveiled their latest single, “Playing Aces,” as they prepare for the release of their eighth album on January 9. This track follows the successful drop of their previously released songs, “What Lies Within” and “Silent Divide.”
Their upcoming album, self-titled “Alter Bridge,” will be accessible in digital formats, CDs, and various special edition vinyl copies. The band has also announced a massive European tour in conjunction with the album’s debut. The tour, named the What Lies Within Tour, will commence on January 15 at Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany. Accompanied by Daughtry and Sevendust as very special guests, Alter Bridge will be taking their music across Europe in style.
Upon completing their European leg, Alter Bridge will continue their momentum with a tour across the United States starting on April 25 at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida, and concluding on May 24 at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center in Tampa. Filter, Sevendust, and Tim Montana will join them as special guests on select dates. Fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets and exclusive VIP Meet & Greets, along with guitar clinics with Mark Tremonti.
The band teased their upcoming music release with a social media post signaling a new chapter since their hit 2022 album, Pawns & Kings. The cryptic post hinted at new frequencies and shifting energies, possibly suggesting the title of a forthcoming single, “Signals in the Static.” Their previous album, Pawns & Kings, achieved significant success by clinching the top spot on the UK’s Rock & Metal Albums Chart and securing Top 10 rankings on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts.
Throughout their hiatus, Alter Bridge members Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall were actively engaged in various projects, including Creed’s reunion tour and their respective solo endeavors. Mark Tremonti released his sixth album, “The End Will Show Us How,” and Scott Phillips’s solo album, “The Art of Letting Go,” also saw critical acclaim.
In recent times, Creed concluded their reunion tour in Orlando, Florida, after delivering sold-out performances across the nation, including Madison Square Garden in New York City. The band’s soaring popularity led them to extend their tour and host their music cruise to cater to unprecedented demand. The festival is set to feature a lineup of high-energy rock bands, including Nickelback, and will span two days at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI.
Creed’s Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival will commemorate the bands’ historical performances at the venue, with the 2025 edition witnessing an increased demand for live rock music. The festival marks the first time both bands will share the stage since 1999, promising a memorable experience for fans of rock music.
