Rissi Palmer is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter known for her work in Country and Americana music. Her upcoming EP, PERSPECTIVES, showcases her talent for storytelling and melding personal experiences with diverse musical influences. Featuring four unique tracks, the EP encompasses a range of emotions and themes, from introspection and joy to soulful reflections and poignant tributes to legends such as Loretta Lynn.

PERSPECTIVES is a homage to my roots, and when I shared the concept with my longtime collaborator Shannon Sanders, he immediately grasped the vision. Together, we crafted something extraordinary—celebrating my influences while staying true to my artistic voice. Working with Dan Knobler on ‘Somebody Somewhere’ breathed new life into a timeless classic.”

Named one of Forbes’ “15 Black Artists Redefining Country Music,” Palmer’s achievements include two GRAMMY nominations in 2022, in addition to accolades like the SONA Warrior Award and Icon Award. A true visionary in reshaping the landscape of country music, Palmer stands as one of the few Black women to have charted on Billboard’s Country charts. Beyond her musical pursuits, Palmer also serves as a special correspondent for CMT Hot 20 Countdown and holds a Governor position at the Recording Academy in Nashville. Her national and international tours showcase her commitment to celebrating the rich cultural contributions of Black women in Country and Americana music.
