Capitol CMG Publishing Announces Promotions within Leadership Team

The Capitol CMG Publishing, a division of Capitol Christian Music Group, announced key leadership staff promotions, setting itself up for growth and innovation. David Gutekunst steps into the role of Executive Vice President, overseeing the publishing division’s creative marketing and administration teams. Brad O’Donnell, the President of Capitol Christian Music Group, commends Gutekunst’s contributions over the past 20 years, confident in his ability to drive the company forward.

Additionally, Kent Draughon has been elevated to the position of Senior Vice President of Administration & Operations, heading crucial administrative functions alongside Kelly Vaughn, Sr. Director of Rights Management & Analytics, and Courtney Sneed, Senior Director of Client Services & Licensing. Katie Barolak and Terryl Padilla now serve as Senior Directors of Creative, focusing on nurturing songwriters’ talents and improving Capitol CMG’s writer roster.

Further, Jessica Marion’s promotion to VP of Marketing & Song Promotion expands her role to include developing marketing strategies for song promotion and audience engagement.
