Deafheaven plans to release new music in 2026
Deafheaven’s latest album, “Lonely People with Power,” was released earlier this year after a four-year hiatus. Fans will be pleased to hear that new music from the band is expected in 2026. In an interview with Heavy Consequence, lead vocalist George Clarke hinted at the upcoming release, stating, “I guess this is the first time I’ll have said this, and maybe it’s good timing because the year is concluding, but we will have new music next year.”
Additionally, Clarke mentioned that Deafheaven is gearing up for an extensive touring schedule in 2026. He expressed his excitement for the opportunity to perform live and connect with fans, stating, “All I wanna do is just keep my head down and tour, to have good shows and meet cool people and go to cool places. It’s the same thing as it was from day one. We will be touring a lot. So, we’re gonna be very, very busy. It will be busier than this year, which is a blessing.”
As for the band’s live performances in 2026, Deafheaven has confirmed several festival appearances, including shows at Hills of Rock in Plovdiv, Rockstadt in Rasnov, Brutal Assault in Josefov, SonicBlast in Ancora, Summer Breeze in Dinkelsbuhl, Motocultor Festival in Carhaix Plouguer, Reload Festival in Sulingen, All Points East in London, Canela Party in Malaga, and Sick New World in Fort Worth. While tour dates for the first half of the year have not been announced yet, fans can expect additional shows to be added to their schedule soon.
Deafheaven’s commitment to delivering new music and engaging live performances highlights their dedication to their craft and connection with their audience. As they prepare for a busy year ahead, fans can anticipate the band’s signature blend of black metal, shoegaze, and post-rock to captivate audiences across various venues and festivals in 2026. With their unique sound and captivating performances, Deafheaven continues to solidify their place in the music scene and attract a growing fan base eager to experience their latest creations.
