Led Zeppelin recently faced a setback in trademarking the name “The Led Zeppelin Experience” due to its similarity to their existing trademark, ‘Led Zeppelin.’ Despite efforts to include the term ‘Experience’ to differentiate it, the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office ruled that the marks were too alike. Led Zeppelin intended to use this brand for entertainment services and merchandise featuring the name, possibly for an exhibit like The Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd. Frontman Robert Plant’s son, Jason Bonham, faced a similar challenge with his “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience” tour and eventually renamed it “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening.”

Meanwhile, the Eagles managed to secure a spot among the top-earning tours of the year without hitting the road. Their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas landed them the seventh spot on the charts. Other notable mentions include Coldplay with $464.9M in gross earnings, Imagine Dragons, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. Pollstar and Billboard have both released rankings showcasing the highest-grossing rock tours for the year.

Kansas is gearing up for their 2026 tour across North America, with stops in cities like Pompano Beach, Naples, Daytona Beach, and Mexico City. Fans can catch the iconic band in action starting January 9 in Florida. Additionally, employees of Eldridge Industries were treated to a star-studded holiday party headlined by Todd Boehly, featuring a musical lineup including Slash and Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and producer Andrew Watt. The event saw performances from artists like Yungblud, Brandi Carlile, Anthony Kiedis, Eddie Vedder, and Bruno Mars, covering hits from legendary bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and more.

In conclusion, the rock music scene is abuzz with exciting tours, trademark challenges, and innovative holiday celebrations that keep fans and industry professionals alike engaged and entertained.
