Fan aids Mark Tremonti in reuniting with his original PRS guitar

Regarding the story of Mark Tremonti, the talented guitarist from Creed and Alter Bridge, his stolen PRS guitar was miraculously returned to him with the help of a devoted fan. Tremonti recently shared this heartwarming anecdote during a tour of his live rig with Revv Amps.

The stolen guitar, a striking single-cut finished in a ‘Tiger Eye’ burst, held significant sentimental value for Tremonti. It was one of the earliest models to come off the PRS production line and served as his primary instrument for songs in Open D5 tuning, both in Alter Bridge and Creed. Unfortunately, during his time at a rehearsal spot in Orlando, the guitar, along with other gear, was stolen.

However, fate intervened in the most unexpected way. The thief, seeking to sell the stolen guitar, found a buyer in a Guitar Center parking lot. This eagle-eyed individual recognized the guitar’s significance and promptly contacted the police, who were able to trace it back to Tremonti. Gratefully, Tremonti was able to reclaim his beloved instrument for the price that the buyer had paid.

Tremonti expressed his relief and gratitude, emphasizing how essential this guitar is to his musical endeavors. The instrument’s unique features, including striking tiger stripes on the back of its neck, make it a treasured part of his gear collection.
