Band of Heathens drops fresh track ‘No Direction’

The Band of Heathens have introduced their latest single, “No Direction,” as a preview of their upcoming album Country Sides, set to be released on February 20, 2026. Country Sides, which was self-produced with the help of Jim Vollentine, is a rich tapestry of roots rock that is infused with vibrant guitar work and spirited anthems.

The track “No Direction” serves as the introductory piece to the album, encapsulating a heartfelt narrative with evocative harmonies and emotive pedal steel. This single, which was unveiled in collaboration with American Songwriter, follows the band’s previously released track “High On Our Own Supply.”

As they commemorate their 20th anniversary, The Band of Heathens not only celebrates this milestone with their most ambitious project to date but also with a series of homecoming shows in Texas and an upcoming tour hitting cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and New Orleans. Their rendition of “Hurricane” has recently been certified platinum, solidifying their status in the music industry.

Originating from modest beginnings, The Band of Heathens transitioned from local Austin venues to national venues with their distinctive blend of rock and roll. Country Sides, slated for an early 2026 release, was recorded in just over a week at the band’s studio, The Finishing School.
