New Catalonia

A total of 40 people representing different sectors took part in the recording. Each shares their perspective on what it means to be Catalan today. The video version of the radio play is now available on the SER Catalunya website and platforms, where it can be watched together with the original audio.

Her introspective journey delves into themes of belonging and self-identity, resonating with viewers on a personal level.

Public figures such as the President of the Generalitat, Barcelona Mayor, and other prominent figures, along with ordinary residents, share their personal stories in the project. They provide diverse perspectives on what it means to be Catalan in today’s society.

The project aims to showcase the diversity of modern Catalonia and highlight the contributions of new residents to the region. By intertwining personal stories with recollections of the past, the project creates a multifaceted portrait of contemporary Catalonia.
