NexaDynamics gears up for ‘K-Branded Entertainment & Commerce’ launch
NexaDynamics recently held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on January 16, where significant decisions were made to appoint new directors and amend the company’s articles of incorporation to include new business objectives. The company, listed on KOSDAQ, appointed Minho Oh as an inside director and Geunwoong Jeong as an outside director to enhance the board’s capabilities and prepare for upcoming entertainment-based business ventures.
The strategic appointments of Minho Oh and Geunwoong Jeong bring a wealth of experience and expertise to NexaDynamics. Minho Oh, currently the CEO of Idea Factory and Yellow Factory, has a proven track record of success in the content sector, particularly in drama and performance planning. He spearheaded the groundbreaking drama “Alone in Love” using Korea’s first pre-production method and played a key role in the production of “The Confidence Man KR.” Moreover, in the performance industry, Oh has organized concerts for globally renowned artists such as Oasis, Muse, Ennio Morricone, and Celine Dion, in addition to managing major festivals like the Jisan Valley Rock Festival.
Geunwoong Jeong, the newly appointed outside director, is widely recognized as a leading AI content director and creator in Korea. He specializes in AI-based visual implementation and direction, as well as AI modeling for character expressions and movements. Jeong has been at the forefront of various collaboration projects with K-pop artists and has contributed to the creation and design of the innovative “AI+Human” hybrid rookie artist character “ZISUAI.” Furthermore, he has formed strategic partnerships with businesses in areas such as album and merchandise production.
In line with its vision for future growth, NexaDynamics expanded its business objectives in the articles of incorporation to include content, advertising, and commerce-related activities. This strategic move does not signify an immediate launch of a specific business but rather establishes a foundation for future collaborations and business models. The company aims to leverage its expertise in content production, performance planning, and AI capabilities to gradually implement an expansion model that integrates content, marketing, and commerce over the mid- to long-term.
A spokesperson for NexaDynamics emphasized the importance of the recent general meeting, highlighting the company’s commitment to sharing progress with shareholders and the market in a transparent manner. By combining expertise in content production, performance planning, and AI-based visual and data capabilities, NexaDynamics is well-positioned to drive growth through new business initiatives in the coming years.
