Track ‘007’ teases LØLØ’s upcoming album with emotional lyrics

LØLØ has made a comeback with a new single titled ‘007,’ a guitar-driven track that indicates the beginning of a new chapter for the pop-rock artist from Toronto. This single kicks off the release of her upcoming second album, ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings,’ scheduled to drop on April 17 via Fearless Records.

With its clipped riffs and direct vocals, ‘007’ delves into the confessional clarity that characterizes LØLØ’s songwriting style while refining her sound. Co-written with Brian Dales, Taylor Acorn, and Danen Reed Rector, the track strikes a balance between melodic catchiness and restrained emotion, offering a glimpse into the overall tone of the upcoming album.

Contrary to her debut album, which explored emotional distance and self-preservation, LØLØ’s new record embraces vulnerability and authenticity, stripping her songwriting down to the core of her lived experiences. Featuring 13 tracks, the album includes previously released singles like ‘the devil wears converse,’ ‘american zombie,’ and ‘me with no shirt on,’ alongside new material developed in collaboration with artists such as Andrew Goldstein and DCF.

Since emerging on the music scene in 2018, LØLØ has steadily built a loyal fanbase through EP releases and a series of songs that bridge the gap between pop sensibilities and alt-rock edge. Her debut album, ‘falling for robots and wishing I was one,’ introduced this unique blend on a larger scale, with recent singles honing her introspective voice while retaining its raw edge.

To coincide with the album release, LØLØ will unveil a new set of headline tour dates overseas on January 19. As the album launch approaches in April, ‘007’ serves not as a reinvention statement but as a clear indication of a more direct, personal, and emotionally engaging record in the works.
