MARC VALENTINE RELEASES NEW MUSIC VIDEO
Marc Valentine, the UK powerpop virtuoso, has introduced a new track titled “NY UAP” from his upcoming third solo album, “Uncommon Side Effects,” set for release in April. The video for the song was produced and directed by Danny Garcia, a renowned filmmaker known for works such as Stiv, Looking For Johnny, and Sad Vacation.
In discussing the inspiration behind “NY UAP,” Valentine likened it to an allegory for life on tour. He revealed that the idea for the track emerged during a tour along the US east coast when reports of unidentified aerial phenomena in New Jersey surfaced. Pondering whether these phenomena had their version of rock’n’roll, he envisioned them embarking on the ultimate inter-dimensional tour.
Fans eagerly anticipating the album can pre-order “Uncommon Side Effects,” which drops on April 10th. Following the album release, Marc Valentine and his band are hitting the road in April and May to promote their new music. Catch them live at various locations, including Water Rats (London), Wedgewood (Portsmouth), Tuppenny (Swindon), Hope & Anchor (London), Steel Bar (Corby), Fox & Newt (Leeds), Salford Eagle (Manchester), Voodoo Daddys (Norwich), Malmö Medley (Sweden), Stockholm Encore (Sweden), and Call Of The Wild Festival (Lincoln).
