.Deitrick Haddon is a 3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist and producer who is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his groundbreaking Chainbreaker album with a new release titled Chain Breaker 2.5. The original 19-track Chainbreaker album, released at the turn of the millennium, featured unique fusions of urban rhythms with choir harmonies. Chain Breaker 2.5, set to be released soon, offers a fresh take on six of the original songs from Chainbreaker. Hip Hop producer Zaytoven and rapper T. Church also contribute to the album. Additionally, the new rendition of “Anybody Here” features two treatments: a quartet-styled Southern Soul Mix with Jekalyn Carr and a street version with DJ Malaski and Angel Chisholm. Haddon introduces several new tracks like the Acoustic Pop song “Find Jesus” and the progressive “Back to Life.” The album also includes a new version of the early V.O.U. classic “Hold on 2 Your Faith,” featuring original soloist Damita and vocalist Tasha Page Lockhart.

Throughout his career, Deitrick Haddon has placed over two dozen songs on Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Airplay chart, with four No. 1 hits including “A Billion People,” “Open Door Season,” “Here Comes the Joy,” and “Never Be the Same.” He is known for classic tracks like “Sinner’s Prayer,” “Well Done,” “Heaven Knows,” “A Sinner’s Prayer,” and “He’s Able.” Collaborations with artists like Ruben Studdard, Mary Mary, Moby, Usher, Q Parker, and Faith Evans have further showcased his talent. Haddon’s work has earned him 3x Grammy® Award nominations, multiple Stellar Gospel Music Awards, and a Dove Award for Urban Album of the Year for Church on the Moon. In addition, he has appeared in independent films like “Blessed and Cursed” and “The Fallen.”
