Yumi Zouma unveil their latest album “No Love Lost to Kindness” from Nettwerk
Yumi Zouma, the New Zealand indie-rock quartet, has just released their fifth studio album, NO LOVE LOST TO KINDNESS, via Nettwerk. This album follows their critically acclaimed PRESENT TENSE LP in 2022 and EP IV in 2023, showcasing a bold, heavy, and emotionally raw sound. The band’s latest track, ‘Cowboy Without A Clue’, which comes with a live video, explores themes of distance, connection, and endurance. The song reflects the band’s own experience with long-distance relationships, with guitarist Josh Burgess recording parts of the track during his travels in Chennai, India in 2024.

Produced by guitarists Josh Burgess and Charlie Ryder, the album features 12 tracks including singles like ’95’, ‘Phoebe’s Song’, ‘Drag’, ‘Cross My Heart and Hope To Die’, ‘Blister’, and ‘Bashville on the Sugar.’ Yumi Zouma aimed to shed their dream-pop sound in favor of a heavier, more emotionally charged direction, embracing clarity, power, and personal sentiment in their lyrics and sound.
To support the release of NO LOVE LOST TO KINDNESS, Yumi Zouma will embark on a North American headline tour in Spring 2026. The tour will kick off at Black Cat in Washington, D.C. on April 30 and includes stops in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
