In an attempt to learn more about Converse, Carr delved into Howard Fishman’s book, “To Anyone Who Ever Asks: The Life, Music, and Mystery of Connie Converse,” leading to an obsession that culminated in a dream where Converse was performing in his kitchen on a vintage Moog synthesizer, creating beautiful and otherworldly sounds.
