Winter Rock Festival in Los Alamos to Benefit Hockey Association With Event on Feb. 26
The upcoming Los Alamos Winter Rock Festival is set to take place on Thursday, Feb. 26, organized by the Los Alamos Hockey Association. The event is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m., at the Duane Smith Auditorium.
To enhance the festival experience, a vendor fair offering games and activities will commence at 5 p.m. This initiative serves as a fundraising platform for the youth hockey association, aimed at supporting their hockey program, which boasts being the second largest in the state with 200 players. This event is the inaugural Winter Rock Festival, envisioned to become a seasonal counterpart to the popular Friday night summer concert series. The festival’s emphasis is on promoting local talent, with only local musicians and bands being featured, thereby contributing to various local charities and organizations. The lineup for the festival includes performances by three bands, all showcasing local talent. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on HoldMyTicket, an online ticketing platform.
An eye-catching banner advertising the festival will be displayed starting from February 16 on the Diamond Drive overpass near Los Alamos High School. This event serves as an opportunity for the local community to come together and enjoy a night of music while supporting their youth hockey association. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of this exciting event that benefits both local talent and the development of youth hockey in the region.
