Mumford & Sons to Perform Small Series of Shows Before Release of ‘Rushmere’ Album
Mumford & Sons recently announced a series of intimate shows leading up to the release of their highly anticipated new album, “Rushmere.” The band, consisting of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane, will be gracing small club venues in Europe, Australia, and North America with their folk-rock sound. This tour marks their first live performances of 2025 and is set to commence on March 5 in the Netherlands, culminating on March 26 in Brooklyn, New York. One of the highlights of this tour includes a stop at Massey Hall in Toronto on March 23.
The group shared their excitement about the upcoming shows on Instagram, urging fans to visit their online community, Agora, to secure tickets for the events. A priority-access presale is scheduled for February 13 for Agora members, followed by a general on-sale the next day, although tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Additionally, Mumford & Sons announced that a portion of ticket sales will be donated to War Child, an organization dedicated to helping children affected by conflicts in war-torn regions, particularly those currently in need in Gaza.
The tour announcement comes ahead of the release of “Rushmere,” Mumford & Sons’ first full-length album in seven years, following their highly successful 2018 album, “Delta,” which debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The band expressed their enthusiasm for their upcoming album back in January when they first revealed its existence to their fans. Just a few days later, they unveiled the title track and lead single, which quickly climbed to No. 30 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.
This new tour is a significant moment for Mumford & Sons, as they prepare to introduce their latest musical offering to fans around the world. The intimate nature of these shows will allow audiences to experience the band’s music up close and personal, creating a unique and memorable concert experience. As anticipation for the release of “Rushmere” continues to build, fans eagerly await the opportunity to see Mumford & Sons perform live and showcase their new music in an intimate setting.
