“Growing up, the music of 311 left a lasting impression on me and influenced my work. Additionally, songs like “Southern Cross” and the vibrant melodies of Jimmy Buffett all played a role in shaping the sound of ‘Blue’.”
How did you approach the songwriting process for this album and bring it all together?
“Trying to describe the creative process is akin to explaining why certain colors harmonize with each other. There’s no formula for genuine creativity. For ‘Blue’, the lyrics unfolded naturally, like opening an ancient jar of honey that somehow still tastes sweet. I believe inspiration is timeless and profound; you just have to unlock it and hope the outcome is as satisfying as a sweet treat.”

“Following ‘Dynamite, Darling’, a space-themed album, and the maritime journey of ‘Blue’, I’m excited to explore new territories in my music. Whether it’s delving into the Wild West, tropical rainforests, or delving into the world of atomic-level chemistry, the possibilities are endless.”
