Shinedown reveals upcoming album and tour dates for 2026

Shinedown has revealed that their highly-anticipated new studio album, EI8HT, is set to be released on May 29 under Atlantic Records. Not only that, but they have also dropped a new track titled “Safe and Sound.”

The band is gearing up to take their fresh songs on the road with the Dance Kid Dance Act II World Tour, which will span 54 dates in 11 countries. Bassist Eric Bass took on the role of producer for the new album, and lead vocalist Brent Smith commended him for his hard work.

In a statement, Smith expressed, “This album has been in the works for over a year. We pushed ourselves to new limits as a band, particularly with Eric.
